As an events co-ordinator, it’s important you choose the perfect event catering provider

We all look forward to the lunchtime spread when we’re at a conference (sometimes it’s the best bit). Here, we want to share our tips that we’ve learned along the way…

How do you choose the perfect catering events company?

We may be biased, but there’s nothing better than the perfect fuel to get your guests through the second part of the day.

If you’ve never used catering for events before, we know it can be a little daunting and setting a budget can be a little baffling to say the least!

We’re happy to say, we’re one of the good guys – all our prices are clear to see on our website and there are no hidden costs.

When it comes to corporate catering, it’s important to know what to look for. We recommend creating a checklist of things you absolutely need from your caterer.

This could include, but isn’t limited to:

  • Options for those with dietary requirements
  • Refreshments
  • A good variety of options
  • Delivery times – how early food can be delivered for a breakfast event is of paramount importance, for example
  • Within budget
  • A company that offers flexibility for when numbers change

Have questions at the ready and be as prepared as possible. It’s important you have someone as organised as you when catering events. They need to be prompt with emails and be able to make changes at the drop of a hat.

In events – and in our experience, particularly conferences – often businesses don’t know who’s attending on their behalf until the week before (at the earliest, trust us). This is why you need to find the right corporate event catering provider for you. Look for:

  • Flexibility
  • Understanding
  • Support

What should you serve?

It may be obvious, but the answer to this question depends entirely on your event. Let’s talk about our customer’s favourites, shall we?

Breakfast

The most important meal of the day, as we all know! We’re not going to sit here and tell you we’ve tried every pastry from a corporate catering service in Manchester, but ours are probably the best.

A mixture of our pains aux raisin, pains au chocolat and croissants are always a hit with clients, attendees and visitors.

Dietary requirements are no problems either. Our vegan yoghurt and gluten free granola pots go down a treat too.

Lunch

This is where the fun really starts. As we’ve mentioned, refuelling at an all-day event is so important. Your event catering needs to be spot on, in order to allow your attendees to engage and enjoy the second half of the day.

It’s safe to say we had an absolute ball putting together our lunch menu. With so much on offer, it really is the bread and butter (pardon the pun) of our catering service and is what sets us apart.

Whether you’re looking for finger food, delicious sandwiches or fresh salads, we’ve got you! We recommend serving salads only if your clients or attendees have somewhere to sit (and maybe a mirror to find any rogue greens in their teeth)

Refreshments

Caffeine, caffeine, caffeine. Anyone else agree? When at an event, especially an early-morning event caffeine is king.

There’s no watery coffee around here! Our early morning breakfast tea and our 100% Arabica Premium Coffee do caffeine right! They’re the perfect blend to please even the fussiest of guests!

If caffeine isn’t your thing, we’ve got tonnes of fresh juices, bottles juices, canned refreshments and water to choose from too. Basically, if you want it, we’ve probably got it!

Still got questions?

If you’ve got specific event catering requirements, chances are we can help you out. We’re a truly flexible corporate catering service. We created the business built on flexibility and care and we’re here to help you make your event easier (well, the catering part at least).

If you want to get in touch and have a no obligation conversation about how we can help, give us a call.
